When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on page, referring URLs, and session data.

If you are located in the EEA or United Kingdom, we process your data based on contract performance (to fulfill your order), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, Site improvement), legal obligation, or consent (for marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time).

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors for payment processing, shipping, manufacturing, email delivery, and analytics, under confidentiality obligations.
• Manufacturing Partners: We may share your submitted artwork with production partners solely to fulfill your order.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Order records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years for tax and financial compliance. Uploaded artwork and design files are retained for the duration needed to fulfill your order and a reasonable period thereafter to handle claims, then securely deleted. You may request deletion at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, secure storage, and restricted access controls. Payment card data is processed through our payment processor in accordance with PCI-DSS standards; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. In the event of a data breach affecting Illinois residents, we will provide notification as required by the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA, 815 ILCS 530) within the timeframe and in the manner specified by that law.

• Social Media Consent — Withdraw Permission: If you previously granted permission for us to use images of your order on social media (by leaving the checkout checkbox selected), you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at hello@customgolfcup.com with your order number. Withdrawal applies prospectively; content already published will be removed upon request on a commercially reasonable basis.
• Illinois Residents: Illinois residents are protected under the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA, 815 ILCS 530), which requires us to notify you of any data breach involving your personal information. Illinois does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute equivalent to the CCPA; however, you retain all rights set forth in this section and may contact us at any time to exercise them.
